The Whale Castle Deck

From the artist: The concept of this card deck was from a documentary that I watched on Youtube which covers a subject on deep sea. In this Documentary, deep sea was compared to deep space because they are surprisingly similar and this fact leads me to imagine the marine animals in space.

I tried to create a background that sea and space coexists in mysterious atmosphere. I spent days agonizing over how to organize all these as one design and finally I came up with a rising castle on a whale’s back.
